The news of a special session of the Parliament in September and the word doing the rounds that the BJP government plans to introduce the Women’s Reservation Bill, and the ‘One Nation-One Election’ Bill has been received with some skepticism here with the Bharat Rashtra Samiti’s senior leader, and the party’s secretary general, K. Keshava Rao saying any talk of such Bills being introduced and passed "is far-fetched." Keshav Rao, also a BRS member of the Rajya Sabha, said, "There are a lot of rumours going around. Even if they want to do something like this, a five-day session would not suffice. And even if any Bill requires a Constitutional amendment, as these being speculated about need, then they have to be discussed and adopted by state legislatures. All this is too far-fetched." #brs #bjp #onenationoneelection #news18 n18oc_politics
