Saucy and DELICIOUS Shredded Brisket Pot Pies - YUM! 🇿🇦 Ingredients: 2 tbsps. olive oil 1.5kg beef brisket 1 onion, chopped 3 cloves garlic, chopped 1 cup red wine 2 cups beef stock 2 cups water 3 cups, tomato puree Salt Pepper Directions: 1. Heat olive oil in a large ovenproof pot. Place the beef brisket in the pot and brown the meat on all sides. 2. Remove the brisket from the pan. 3. Fry the onion and garlic until fragrant. Add wine, stock, water, tomato puree, and season with salt & pepper. Bring to the boil and place the beef brisket back into the pot. 4. Place the pot in the oven and cook for 4 hours at 160°C. 5. At 2 hours, turn the brisket pieces in the pot. 6. Roll out puff pastry with flour and a rolling pin. Use a jar to cut out the pie lids. 7. Place the cooked brisket on a baking sheet and using two forks shred the meat. Mix the shredded meat back through the sauce before placing it into the ramekin topped with a pastry pie lid. 8. Poke a hole in each pie lid and brush with an egg wash before baking for 25 minutes at 180°C and ENJOY!
