Police Use Stop Sticks to End Chase (09/30/94)

Greenfield, Indiana September 30, 1994 During a rather slow chase of a suspected drunk driver, the police decide to end the pursuit sooner than later. One officer gets ahead of the pursuit and deploys stop sticks across the road. The driver runs right over the sticks, and his tires are flattened in a matter of seconds, thus forcing him to pull over and bring the chase to an end.
