LIVE PUBLIC COMMENTS ON SPECIAL AGENDA ITEMS - Speakers not in the queue by 5:00 p.m. will not be permitted to speak. Once a caller has entered the meeting, they will be placed in a holding queue. To request to speak, dial *9 from your phone or click on “Raise Hand” from Zoom. Callers will be prompted to speak in the order received. After the Clerk confirms the last three digits of the caller’s phone number and unmutes them, the caller must press *6 to speak when prompted or tap on the unmute button (or the microphone icon on your device). Callers are encouraged, but not required to identify themselves by name and neighborhood of residence. Each caller will be provided three (3) minutes to speak. IN-PERSON PUBLIC COMMENTS OPTION - Members of the public can provide in-person comments at the podium in the Council Chamber. The Council Chamber will have seating available for members of the public to attend in-person up to full capacity. Face coverings are optional for members of the public who enter City buildings who have been vaccinated against COVID-19. Public comments are limited to three (3) minutes per speaker, unless a different time is announced by the presiding chair. Speakers who wish to address the Council must do so by submitting a “Request to Speak” card by 5:00 p.m. Cards will not be accepted after the Public Comment Session begins without the permission of the presiding chair. SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING WILL BEGIN AT 5:00 P.M.
