HEAR AND BE HEALED - Ps Paul Silway 1) But the word about Him spread even more. And great crowds were coming together to HEAR, AND to BE HEALED from their infirmities by Him —Luke 5:15. 2) Did you notice in the above scriptures that the multitudes came to hear and be healed. A lot of people want to be healed, but they don't want to hear anything—and people like that seldom get anything from God. So if you want to be healed, HEAR! 3) Why can't God heal me without me hearing the Word of God. It's because we have a free will and we have to choose to receive it and faith is the HAND that receives it and God won't force it upon you. 4) Many come at the end of the meeting so that the Pastor may lay his hand on them for healing. It doesn't work that way at all. That was not the way Jesus ministered. He always made sure that they heard the Word and those who didn't hear or believe did not receive anything from God. 5) If it was in Jesus' hands whom to heal and whom not to heal, then why couldn't he do any miracles in His own home town though he wanted to? 6) In Mark 6:5: "And he COULDN'T DO any mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. " He laid his hands on a few folks with minor ailments." 7) It says He COULDN'T NOT WOULDN'T. He wanted to heal, but He couldn't because they failed to hear or they failed to believe. 8] There are many saints who don't go to their local churches to hear the Word. It's become a fashion today not to attend any churches but just go and attend any meetings they choose or hear online. This is wrong. Some saints thought since they have talents or gifts so have left the church and have become pastors. 9) Pastoral calling is an office; not a profession. Even those who have gifts and talents must sit under the Under shepherd who has the full time call on their life's. It's an office and they have a special anointing to minister to the saints. Whereas those who have talents have the same anointing that any saint in the Body of Christ has. 10) I have seen some saints have left the office of a Pastor who has special anointing for the ministry and are sitting under saints who have the same anointing that any born again Christian has and even calling them a pastor. 11) In these days of greater glory as blessing will come quickly so will chastening come quickly. We have entered into an accelerated period of time. 12) There are so many saints who neglect the word of God and move out of divine faith and are walking in their sense realm where Satan is a master and he can whip you, unless you walk by faith not by sight. 13) I have prayed for so many saints and even leaders who are suffering from depression, oppression, fear, breathing issues and chest pain etc. 14) Saints play safe and be godly in your outward behavior and also get connected to the right local church.
