Taipei rebukes China's offers of COVID vaccines as cases surge in Taiwan | The World

After months of relative safety - Taiwan is facing a surge in domestic COVID-19 cases while running out of vaccines at the same time. The Chinese-claimed island has so far received only about 700,000 doses of vaccine for its more than 23 million people. But has angrily rebuked China's offer to help, accusing Beijing of spreading fake news.
