Ophir Pass / Ouray / Silverton, CO | Epic Summer Adventure

It’s the third week of July 2023 and we stopped thru to Ouray/Silverton Colorado in hopes that we could hit some of the major OHV trails. Imogene Pass which is a 17.1-mile trail connecting Telluride and Ouray, and Black Bear Pass which is a 10 mile trail connecting Ouray and Silverton to Telluride. Unfortunately, the month of July was still too early in the season that there was still tons of packed snow on the trails that made both of them impassable to go all the way through. So we just did half of Ophir Trail and half of the trail to Clear Lake which was also impassable and hung out at camp by the river.
