Bearfence Mountain Trail | Dangerous Hikes In Virginia | Rock Scrambling
Bearfence Mountain is a great short hike off Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park. It offers two routes one with a rock scramble and amazing 360-degree views of the beautiful Blueridge Mountains and the other with a really great overlook of the mountains below. Either route you take you won't be disappointed. You could even do both routes and turn it into a loop. Bearfence Mountain Trail is perfect for a day hike in search of great views.
