WHAT...Dangerously cold wind chills expected. A wintry mix of light snow, freezing rain and sleet is possible. The ice will result in very slippery conditions on sidewalks, roads and bridges. Expect wind chills to range from 20 to 25 degrees above zero. Total ice accumulations of a light glaze are expected. WHERE...Coastal Willacy and Coastal Cameron County. WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, 6 PM today to 10 AM Wednesday. For the Wind Chill Advisory, now to noon Wednesday. ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The dangerously cold wind chills will cause frostbite in as little as 10 minutes to exposed skin. The ice will result in difficult travel conditions, including during rush hour Wednesday morning. Total ice accumulations of up to one tenth of an inch are expected.
