4965 & 5043 with The Cornishman

Another double-heading took place in the South West, although despite it's title it did not head for Cornwall. Tyseley's 4965 Rood Ashton Hall & 5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe paired up to conquer Devon with The Cornishman railtour Bristol-Plymouth working. At Whiteball the GWR duo are heard in fine form as they conquer the climb to the tunnel. At the scenic Dawlish Sea Wall the promise of full sun was not as hopefull as predicted, as the pair recover from a clearance slack at Dawlish station due to the Halls wide low slung cylinders. Following on to the return working and things became the opposite, 4965 & 5043 are seen flattening Bow Grange with the sun out in time for the pair. And finally running 10 minutes early at Whiteball tunnel. A rather Topsy Turvy day that was. Any chance of a run to Cornwall in future Tyseley?
