International Women's Day & Managing the Planet Panel

March 8th was International Women's Day, which celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women globally. This year's campaign theme is Press for Progress, a call-to-action to press forward and progress toward gender equality. Global activism is being fueled by movements such as #MeToo. CSU and the School of Global Environmental Sustainability hosted a "Managing The Planet" panel led by four female scientists who discussed the pressing challenges facing humanity today and how these issues can be mitigated through the education and empowerment of women.
