Living Out Of A Wall Tent ALONE Herding Sheep In The Wilderness On Horses

All alone in the middle of nowhere and this is your home. Just you, your dogs, your horses, and a herd of sheep. Could you do it? All of our other herds we are able to bring supplies to them in the truck, but this one, every single week, everything he needs has to be brought in on the back of a horse. In order to move camp, everything has to be packed up and loaded on horses as well. Everything we load on the horse has to be weighed out, and equal on both sides so the horse is comfortable carrying the load, and stable as we move about the steep and rough places we need to go. All of his food, dishes, utensils, gas stove, and clothes are put into boxes that we built to put in the pack bags. These sheep walk from the bottom of the mountain, and start grazing at a low elevation. As the summer goes on they slowly work their way up the mountain to better and better feed. It seems as though we run like crazy all spring and early summer, but when we get on the horses and head for the mountain, you can only go so fast on a horse, so we take advantage of every single minute of it. ‪@BroncsAndDonks‬ ‪@tsmules‬ ‪@broncsanddonks2‬
