Wyoming Sheep Camp - Working the Winter Range

This is an older video that we transitioned to this channel. It features content about sheep camp/range camp RV life, RV tips, and travel adventures with our sheep camps, "Camp Liberty" and "Camp 216." Beth and I saw this old sheep camp on a winter road trip through Wyoming to Belton, Texas, for the Mother Earth News Fair with our first-aid kit company, AMP-3 (www.AMP-3.net). After getting fuel and pulling out of Little America, we spotted the camp on the cold, frozen Wyoming winter range. While this isn't a "new" sheep camp, it sure looks cool sitting out on the open range with a horse tethered to the commissary hooked up to the back to keep the horses fed. It sure had that well-used look of many years working the open range. The orange-colored tarp rolled up along the bottom of the camp is used as a "skirt" that is lowered and anchored to the ground, decreasing cold air blowing under the camp, which helps to keep the occupants warmer.
