TOPIC: DO WE FULLY TRUST IN GOD’S LOVE?    First Reading: Romans 3: 21-30 Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 130: 1b-2, 3-4, 5-6ab Alleluia: John 14: 6 Gospel: Luke 11: 47-54 Our first reading today from the Letter of St. Paul to the Romans speaks of faith in Christ Jesus for those who believe. Now, this gift is important because Jesus was so emphatic in His condemnation of the Scribes and Pharisees in our Gospel reading. And they responded with hostility and were plotting to catch him at something he might say against them. As we try our best to stand strong in our faith, we need to completely put our trust in Jesus and his mission for our salvation. May our trust in the Lord grow each day as we deepen our relationship with Him and to help us prepare to enter the Father’s kingdom.   This is the 1273rd installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings. [NOTE: As we continue to pray for Bro Bong Arjonillo’s healing and recovery, let us listen to our brother Rouquel Ponte, a member of the CFC Board of Elders, as he brings us today's reflection. All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives.
