Thursday's extended Cleveland weather forecast: Staying hot and sunny in Northeast Ohio

Cleveland weather forecast for Wednesday, May 31, 2023. We have another hot day expected across Northeast Ohio with lots of sunshine and temperatures in the upper 80s. Today's highs won't be too far from the record of 92 degrees, which was set back in 1944. This heat and sunshine is sticking around for a while, too. “We’re going to remain in the 80s to near 90 for the rest of the work week," explains 3News meteorologist Hollie Strano. Looking ahead to the weekend, Strano says we bring in isolated shower and storm chances later on Saturday. Behind that front, temperatures will fall back into the 70s by early next week.
