Cleveland weather: Turning Up the Heat this Week in Northeast Ohio

Cleveland weather forecast for Monday, August 21, 2023. Today's been rather cloudy across NE Ohio...especially when you look back at how much we had this weekend. Another change is the muggy feel...it's in full force and leading to a lot of us feeling tropical in nature too. While tomorrow and Wednesday will be more comfortable, Thursday will feel like we took a vacation to Florida. Temperatures will be near 90°...if not warmer. This will lead to a feels like temperature in the mid to upper-90s through the heat of the day. This is a big heads up to have a plan in place to beat the heat on Thursday. Our rain chances aren't super impressive this week either. Isolated to scattered chances between later in the day Wednesday through Friday. Another reminder to stay on top of your watering schedules. Highs by the weekend get knocked back into the 70s...so don't fret about the idea of 90° sticking around for a long time. If you've forgotten, we've only had one 90° recorded so far this summer at Cleveland-Hopkins. That's way below the 9 day normal for Cleveland at heat like that.
