Several Buildings In Gaza City Reduced To Rubble After Israeli Strikes

Extensive destruction can be seen in the streets of Gaza City brought by Israel's weeklong bombardment during its latest war with Hamas. Israel has launched a series of airstrikes against the city and other parts of the Gaza Strip since the ruling militants' bloody incursion into southern Israel a week ago. The Gaza Health Ministry said Saturday that over 2,200 people have been killed in the territory, including 724 children and 458 women. The Hamas assault killed more than 1,300 people on the Israeli side, most of them civilians, and roughly 1,500 Hamas militants were killed during the fighting, the Israeli government said.
