Future tropical storm threatens Florida. Storm Franklin strengthens.

Tropical storm Franklin is strengthening north of the Dominican Republic. The National Hurricane Center forecasts it will intensify into Hurricane Franklin over the weekend. Interests in Bermuda should remain vigilant about its evolution. A low-pressure system located to the north of Honduras has a high probability of developing into a tropical cyclone. It is projected to pass near the Yucatán Peninsula (Quintana Roo), the western part of Cuba, and over the state of Florida.
