The world explains everything as a set of binaries and one is forced to always remain on one side—the ‘right’ side. The pressure to always be right is even more pronounced for Black women; they are expected to look a certain way and bend and break themselves to fit into moulds that largely reject them. This short film explores an obsession with being right and always doing that which is considered right. It looks at the fear of failure that creeps in due to the obsession. It also acknowledges the need to stand up and try again when one has failed. Production by Tsholofelo Tselaemang School of Journalism and Media Studies, Rhodes University
