Your 6 p.m. Northeast Ohio weather forecast for April 2, 2026: The warmer air has arrived! A warm front brought a few showers to the area this morning. But that front has now moved north and the Summer-like air is moving in. Temperatures this evening will hang in the 60s and 70s. We'll remain muggy tonight with a few showers and storms working in from the west as leftover storms in Illinois and Indiana this afternoon. This front will fade over us, so we'll lose the majority of the rain chances with just a few pop-ups possible in the afternoon. If you're heading to the Cleveland Guardians home opener on Friday, grab a jacket. Temps will be in the 70s for much of the day, but a lake breeze looks to develop bringing colder air off the lake. One more warm day Saturday before a round of storms rolls through later in the day. Highs will push 80. Some of these storms will be strong later Saturday. Rain will continue Saturday night as cooler air moves in. Betsy Kling has more of your forecast: https://www.wkyc.com/article/weather/... At 3News, we’re here to share your voice and tell your story.
