S.Korea says no discussion with US on THAAD battery deployment / YTN

South Korea has reaffirmed that it did not have any consultations with Washington on a U.S. move to deploy an advanced missile defense system on the Korean Peninsula. Foreign ministry spokesman Noh Kwang-Il said at a regular press briefing on Thursday that Seoul understands that the United States has not made any decision or any official request for the THAAD deployment on the divided peninsula. He added that no consultations between Seoul and Washington on the THAAD system deployment issue have been made.
