Dead Space 2 Full Game Walkthrough No Commentary Let´s Play Dead Space 2 is a survival horror video game with a science fiction setting. From a third-person perspective, players steer main protagonist Isaac Clarke through a story campaign comprised of individual levels. Isaac explores the Sprawl space station to accomplish story-driven objectives, uncover environmental riddles, and combat enemies known as Necromorphs. The game saves both automatically at checkpoints and manually at crafting stations. Players may bring their whole inventory into a new game using the New Game Plus feature. The game begins with the Casual, Normal, Survivalist, and Zealot difficulties unlocked. After completing the game once, the player has access to Hard Core, the game's fifth difficulty setting. If the player dies in Hard Core, the game returns them to their most recent save rather than continuing from where they died. Diegetic holographic projections are used to display in-game information, just like in the first Dead Space. The inventory menu does not halt the game, Isaac's health and energy bars are displayed on the back of his RIG suit, and ammo counts are displayed on the weapons themselves. In-game notes and recordings may be retrieved and analyzed at any time. The path to the next aim can be marked out with a guideline. Isaac, in the course of his exploration, can smash boxes with his melee attack or a stomp move. Using Necromorph appendages as improvised projectile weapons is just one application of Kinesis, while Stasis temporarily halts the movement of an opponent. Isaac uses his RIG suit to traverse the environment, which features jet packs for 360-degree maneuverability and a boost capability for accelerated movement across locations with zero gravity. Isaac has the ability to go into vacuum regions at some points, but his air supply is limited and must be replaced using oxygen tanks. Some gadgets and doors can only be accessed when a brief hacking minigame has been finished. An interactive graphic displays a circle with a bar indicating a region; the player must move the bar and hit a button while the area is green; doing so when the area is red results in an electric shock for Isaac. On everything bar the easiest setting, Isaac will face up against Necromorphs that have sprung from the environment and will continue to assault him even after taking significant damage. Isaac may swap multiple weapons between horizontal and vertical fire modes, and he must use his assigned weapon to cut off the Necromorphs' limbs in order to kill them. To add insult to injury, he can trample on them. Using the jets on the RIG suit to dodge obstacles is only one example of the cinematic sequences and quick time events that might result in a game over if you get them wrong. Nodes can be added to weapon-making stations to improve their fire rate or health, respectively. During his travels, Isaac may either purchase supplies from vending machines or scavenge them from the world around him, including health packs, upgrade nodes, and weapon ammo. In the second situation, they may be looted from boxes or discovered on dead foes. Additionally, Isaac can unearth weapon blueprints, which, once uploaded to the shop, will allow him to purchase additional weapons and armor on his next visit. Extra things purchased by Isaac can be placed in a secure location at a save point. In addition to the story mode, there is also a multiplayer option where players may engage in head-to-head competition. In Outbreak mode, teams of four players can choose to defend the Sprawl as the human team or play as a group of four Necromorph types with the objective of eliminating the human team with distinct controls. The human team's goals vary from mode to mode, but they always include either defending a location, eliminating the other team, or performing some sort of technical assignment. Each map has a unique set of five goals for the human squad to accomplish. Humans and Necromorphs alternate rounds each time. Players of Necromorph have the option of spawning as a Lurker, Puker, Spitter, or Pack member. While the multiplayer maps feature Sprawl locales referenced in the story, they are otherwise unique. Gaining experience by winning matches allows you to earn unique gifts for both teams up to level 60.
