Dead Space Full Game Walkthrough No Commentary Let´s Play Survival horror game Dead Space takes place in a futuristic setting. The player assumes the role of Isaac Clarke and directs his actions from an objective third-person perspective. Players explore several levels of the spacecraft Ishimura, accomplishing objectives motivated by story while navigating physics puzzles and fighting monsters known as Necromorphs. There are air tanks hidden around the environment that Isaac may use to refill his air supply while he is out in the vacuum. Some locations include zero-G, allowing Isaac and certain enemies to bounce from surface to surface, and some areas also feature their own unique challenges. Isaac discovers keys to secret rooms and upgrades to his weapons and armor (called "Nodes") as he travels around the Ishimura. Isaac has a few different opportunities to visit a shop and stock up on food and weapons throughout the ship. Using a navigation line, Isaac can locate the next step in the task. Isaac may stomp on boxes of supplies to destroy them and on opponents to kill or repel minor foes or to fend off larger ones with his punches. You'll also get access to Kinesis, which lets you push or pull items around, and Stasis, which freezes time for a short period of time, as the game progresses. In-world holographic projections serve as the medium for all in-game visuals. The back of Isaac's suit shows his current health and energy levels, and while his weapons are drawn, it also shows the number of bullets he has left. Control prompts, pickups, video calls, the game map, inventories, and storefronts are all represented as holograms. The game continues to progress without pausing as the user navigates the menus. While investigating, Isaac is attacked by Necromorphs that emerge from ducts or rise from the dead. Different varieties of Necromorphs call for unique strategies due to their varied skillsets. After taking damage, Necromorphs may change their strategy by growing additional appendages or even creating new foes. Isaac has access to a variety of weapons with which to fight the Necromorphs, who may be destroyed by cutting off one of their appendages. Isaac employs cutting weapons to achieve his goals. The player obtains their first weapon in the first level, and later on, they will find blueprints that will allow them to create other weapons. Isaac may upgrade his weapons and outfit at workbenches he finds throughout the stages. Upon completing the game, Isaac has access to New Game+, which grants him a new costume, more credits and equipment, and fresh video and audio logs. Additionally, a harder difficulty level becomes available.
