Trade volume to increase by $1 billion a year from Korea-Iran B2B

The Korean government is rushing to re-engage economically with Iran... by giving local firms the green light to engage in business-to-business transactions of humanitarian goods with the Middle Eastern country. Korea's finance ministry says the move will increase the bilateral trade volume by up to one-billion U.S. dollars over the next twelve months. This comes as economic sanctions imposed on Tehran by the international community were partially lifted for six months in mid-January... after the Iranian government agreed to an interim deal to curb its nuclear activities.
