Litigation looms on Pakistan as Iran claims USD 18b for IP pipeline

Once again, Pakistan is under the shadow of darkness as its looms under the threat of litigation in International Court. This time it's related to Iran-Pakistan Gas Pipeline Project, in which Iran has claimed USD 18b for the pipeline. However, PM Sharif has taken up matter and intends to use diplomatic channels to avoid a legal battle between two countries. As per Express Tribune sources, Iran claims that it has already spent USD 2 billion to complete its part of the pipeline in its territory. Pakistan, on the other hand, has not even begun working on the construction.
