Like with Gilgamesh battles, there are no specific offensive moves that works better against Bahamut, so just hit him with the best offense you got! Holy with Eldest Staff equipped deals a lot of damage to this and any other enemy in the game! Bahamut's level is divisible by 3... so using L3 Flare will help! Now here is the main thing about Bahamut: This boss has 40,000 HP. When he is close to being beaten, he will cast his signature move Mega Flare, which causes 2,700+ points of damage per character. This will end in a lost battle for sure, even when Shell is applied on everyone if the character levels are not high enough. Something you want to do is to cast Carbunkle after a while of hitting him with everything you got at your disposal. The Reflect status on everyone will save you from Mega Flare and will kill Bahamut dealing 9999 points of damage! So you should do this when you have inflicted about 30,000 more or less points of damage on Bahamut (you gotta do some quick math on your head, or just cast Libra/Peep/Scan to watch your progress... or just let it flow and improvise the move when you feel it is time to do so!).
