Jewish Couple Expecting First Child Killed In Williamsburg Hit-And-Run

Police in Brooklyn are looking for a hit-and-run driver after an accident that killed an Orthodox Jewish couple expecting their first child. According to Isaac Abraham, a spokesman for the Orthodox community, 21-year-olds Nathan and Raizy Gluber were headed to the hospital to have the baby around midnight Saturday when their livery cab was struck by another car at the intersection of Kent Avenue and Wilson Street in Williamsburg. The driver of the other car fled the scene. Police say the baby was delivered at Bellevue Hospital, but the Glubers were pronounced dead at separate hospitals. The baby is currently in serious condition. The driver of the livery cab is in stable condition at Bellevue Hospital.
