Kentucky school reopens amid video controversy

(23 Jan 2019) A Kentucky boys school reopened Wednesday after shutting down its campus on Tuesday. There was heavy police presence across the campus as students made way to their classes in the morning. Covington Catholic High School canceled classes on Tuesday as church officials said they received threats of violence after a video circulated over the weekend showing a confrontation between students and a Native American protester in Washington D.C.. Subsequent videos showed a more complicated situation instigated by a group calling itself the Black Hebrew Israelites who hurled insults at the boys. Parents, alumni and supporters rallied to the school's defense online.
