Dolphin Resort in Taiji Refuses to Give Dolphins a Chance to Survive Typhoon Talas YouTube

Uploaded by leilanimunter on Sep 2, 2011 On September 2, 2011 Ric O'Barry and I recorded what may be the last day of life for the dolphins in the sea pens at Dolphin Resort (81 is the country code and then dial 73-559-3514) in Taiji, Japan due to Typhoon Talas. Sadly, the dolphin trainers that claim to "love dolphins" would not set them free and give them a chance to live through the typhoon. In the pens, they can never rest, constantly having to try to keep themselves in the middle of the tiny pens in order to avoid being thrown against the side of the cage. Eventually they tire and give up. We love you dolphins, may the four winds blow you safely home.
