The Sad Reality About Dolphin Captivity

On September 17, Ric O'Barry Dolphin Project volunteers Tia Butt and Leilani Munter were on the ground in Taiji to monitor the dolphin slaughter featured in the Academy Award winning documentary "The Cove." The dolphins you see in this footage from the Taiji Whale Museum, were captured in The Cove and the rest of their pod was slaughtered. Dolphin captivity is a sham disguising itself as education when it fact, it is the exploitation and cruelty of an incredibly intelligent and self aware species.
