Flagstaff Police Prepare for Election Day

With the general election less than a month away, we talked to the Flagstaff Police Department about how they’re preparing for election day. Sgt. Charles Hernandez says that FPD expects all voters to act responsibly and in line with the law. Absolutely no voter suppression, coercion or violence will be allowed. Groups are allowed to protest and gather to express their views, in line with the First Amendment, as long as they are peaceful and distanced from polling places. Hernandez says that everyone has the right to vote freely, and the Flagstaff Police will be present to maintain order.
