Ontario COVID-19 update: Premier Doug Ford on funding for long-term care homes - July 15, 2020

In a news conference at Queen’s Park, Ontario Premier Doug Ford, Health Minister Christine Elliott, and Long-Term Care Minister Merrilee Fullerton provide an update on their government’s response to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic. The premier announces details of the Ontario government's $1.75-billion revised funding model to build more long-term care beds. The province also announces that indoor visits at long-term care facilities will be permitted as of July 22, with up to two people allowed at a time per resident.
