RBI Sets Debt Recast Rules For Cos | KV Kamath On ET NOW

On this episode of The Interview, ET NOW’s Consulting Editor Mythili Bhusnurmath is in conversation with KV Kamath. KV Kamath says that the window given by RBI gives banks is enough time to address the space and that the pain might be less in banking than expected in March. He says that the scheme outlined by the RBI gives no prescription to banks on how to recast. The banks have the freedom to design repayment terms within 2 years as long as they do not cross the two-year extension cap.
