Hate the new Yahoo Mail layout? Fix it here! (see description for an update)

1/25/2026 Update The following technique is not included in my video and it worked for a while. It doesn't work for me anymore but it still does work for some people. Yahoo appears to be providing different experiences to different people, sort of AB testing perhaps. If you are currently in the newest version of Yahoo Mail the address bar at the top of your browser should look something like this: mail.yahoo.com/n/inbox/priority?.src=ym&reason=myc Notice the letter N in that address it is key to this technique. The letter N stands for New Click the three dot menu in the lower left then choose Settings. Now the address bar should look like this https://mail.yahoo.com/d/settings/1 Notice the letter D in that address. The letter D stands for deprecated. This appears to be a bug; it should be an N. Click in the address bar and change the letter D to B (use lowercase) This should put you in the settings screen for the (B) basic version click "back to inbox" Check the URL address bar to see if it shows a B. If it does, check the upper right for something like "try the new version" which will take you to the deprecated version not the new version. I think the deprecated version is the one you want. Please let me know how it works or doesn't work for you. If you still have trouble you can send me screenshots as attachments but I can't promise I can find a solution. email address: [email protected] This 3/25/2025 video contains more current information    • Yahoo Mail Fans Rejoice: The Beloved Stand...   Welcome to Doug & Crew!
