Taiwan Suspects To Be Prosecuted On Mainland

32 Taiwanese telecom fraud suspects deported from Malaysia in April will be investigated and prosecuted on the Chinese mainland. The deportations from Malaysia had infuriated Taiwan, which claimed that China had kidnapped its nationals. China in turn, had said it has every right to try the suspects, claiming that such crimes are lightly dealt with in Taiwan.
