Taiwan telecom fraud: 97 suspects extradited from Malaysia to China

Malaysia has extradited 97 suspects to the Chinese mainland in a transnational telecom fraud case. The suspects include 65 people from the Chinese mainland and 32 from Taiwan. The fraud case involved millions of dollars and people from 20 provinces across China were identified as victims. Police from the mainland said they have informed their Taiwan counterparts about the case.
