Kurtis Blow's Christmas Rap wasn't the first festive rap song! It was a Chicago radio station WJPC that prevailed, and used the instrumental to Good Times/Rapper's Delight. It featured all of the WJPC DJ's and hosts with their festive rhymes along with Chicago in the wintertime. This is the second time they have done Christmas Delight, in fact it was initially released in 1979 with fewer DJ's and hosts.
