This is the super rare and FIRST EVER Hip-Hop Christmas song. Sorry but this was out before Kurtis Blow's Christmas Rapping was even recorded (look at the recording dates noted on the respective acetates). First discovered this gem in Chicago back in 2004, I have since bought a dozen or so from Ebay and etc.) Super rare and super awesome! Snatch it up if you ever see one, the quantities are extremely limited as even denoted in the song. This one never ceases to put me in a good mood during the holiday. Obviously this is a remake of Sugarhill Gang's Rapper's Delight, but the crew here over at WJPC saw the future and made their cover into their own thing with fresh lyrics and tight delivery (by 1979's standards). Always a must spin during the holidays. There was also a follow up to this by the station called Christmas Delight 80, I may post that one later. Sure to liven up your holiday mix. Dig!
