Huber Heights School Employee Accused of Inappro

HUBER HEIGHTS -- An investigation into an employee for the Huber Heights School District. Police are now looking into claims of an inappropriate relationship with a student. We spoke to an officer who says they are still trying to figure out all the details and at this time no one has been charged. But parents aren't happy with the allegations. "When it comes to your kids that's your life and it bothers you," said Timothy Jones. Jones has a daughter who goes to Wayne High School in Huber Heights. He's upset because we told him about the recent allegations involving a student at wayne and a district employee. "You're hearing them all the time and it's very scary and I just hope they find out what's going on and take care of it the way it should be taken care of," said Jones. Huber Heights Police say they are investigating allegations of an inappropriate relationship. They got a call from the district earlier this week. "We're going to take every incident serious," said Sgt. Charles Taylor, Huber Heights Police Department. Right now, they're not releasing any information about a possible suspect and will only say they're still working out the details. "The school district and us work hand in hand we have a very good relationship with one another they are very cooperative with us in this and every other incident, said Sgt. Taylor. We sat down with the Huber Heights City School Superintendent Susan Gunnell who says the employee in question is now on administrative leave, and they've contacted the Ohio Department of Education. "Indicating that an employee has engaged or may have engaged in behavior that is unbecoming to the teaching profession," said Superintendent Gunnell. "It worries you because these people are supposed to be watching our kids and taking care of our kids and when you find out something like that it's just really inappropriate and it worries you," said Jones. A worry that Jones believes a parent shouldn't have to face. "They should, who ever it is, they should know better and there's just so much of it going on nowadays, where's this world going?" said Jones. Again, police are still investigating and at this time no one has been officially charged. We will continue to follow this story and let you know if charges are filed. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HUBER HEIGHTS -- Police are investigating allegations of an "inappropriate relationship" involving an employee of the Huber Heights school district and a high school student.
