The Chaps used a 15-0 run to erase a 10 point deficit in the closing minutes to beat the Panther 62-58 to advance to the 6A boys quarterfinals. That run followed a 12-2 Panther run that broke a 44-44 tie. Earlier in the game, O'Connor used a 12-0 run to take a 12-point lead but the Chaps (27-1) followed that with a 10-0 run to close the game to 31-29 at halftime. K.J. Adams scored 28 points but it was a hard fought 28 as Benhayoune scored 22 and sank 4 3-pointers in the 1st half. Jalen Munoz scored 23 including a 1st quarter buzzer beater for OC (21-4). Cade Mankle scored 15 for Westlake as the Chaps advance to face another Northside ISD school, Clark, in the quarterfinals Friday in New Braunfels, #westlake #oconnor #kjadams
