Today I am going to share with you an unique recipe called Bengali Egg dal tadka or Dhaba style egg dal tadka'. It is also known as egg tadka. This is a unique dal tadka recipe which is very famous in eastern part of India specially in Bengal in this dish dal is combined with fried egg....... and the end product is really tasty and loaded with protein. This Dhaba style egg dal tadka/ Dhaba style egg tadka is lip smacking. Try it once....... trust me you will make it again. I have made it in very less oil considering the health factor. For more updates and unique recipes, Follow my recipe page in facebook:   / foodbowlfromtina   Follow me in Instagram:   / mondaltiyash   Subscribe me in youtube:    / @foodandmorebytina   Below is written recipe: Ingredients: Chana dal : 1 cup Green moong dal: 1 cup Turmeric powder: 1 tspoon Salt: As per taste Oil: 4 tlespoon Bay leaves: 2 Cumin seed : 1 tspon Chopped onion: 1 big Chopped garlic: 2 tspoon Chopped ginger: 2 tspoon Chopped tomato: 1 medium Cumin powder: 1 tspoon Coriander powder: 1tsppon Eggs : 2 Green chili 3 to 4 Kasuri methi Process: 1) Soak both the pulses together for 1 to 2 hours 2) Pressure cook till 4 whistles adding salt and turmeric 3) keep aside boiled boiled dal. 4) Take a kadai and add 2 tablespoon oil 5)Tamper 2 bay leaves and cumin seeds 6) Add chopped onion and fry till raw smell goes away 7) add garlic, ginger, tomato one by one and fry till raw smell goes away 8) Add turmeric powder 9) Add cumin and coriander powder 10) Fry, Add salt 11) Add 1 cup water and cover and cook till it melts. 12) add boiled dal and mix well. 13) in the meantime fry 2 eggs ( egg bhurji)in another pan 14) Add fried egg to deal 15) mix well and add water and cook by covering for 5 minutes. 16) Add kasuri methi, green chili. 17) cook for 2 minutes adding water( if required). 18) Serve with rumali roti or phulka Now time for Tina's tips: 1) Add dried red chili with bay leaves and cumin if you like spicy. I avoid chili as my kids also eat same food as us. 2) you can add left over chicken gravy with small chicken pieces at the end. This will enrich the taste of this dish. 3) To make the texture red and spicy you can add kashmiri red chili powder at the end. Thanks for watching!!
