Soon after Noah was born, he stopped breathing in his mother’s arms. He was eventually diagnosed with a rare and dangerous birth defect called congenital nasal pyriform aperture stenosis (CNPAS), where his nasal airways are obstructed, making it difficult to breathe. He has worked hard to overcome eating and growing difficulties and other challenges, but today, he’s thriving. Meet Noah Hodgins from Cedar Rapids, Iowa at uichildrens.org/2018-noah.
