The Mass readings, of Saturday 4 February 2023 (Saturday, Week 4, Ordinary Time, Year I), were proclaimed and the Responsorial Psalm was sung in this Celebration of the Word of God, based on the structure in the Roman Missal, for Ash Wednesday. It had the Entrance Antiphon, Collect, readings as at Mass, Universal Prayer and a prayer at the end, "May the almighty and merciful God bless and protect us ...". Roman Rite in Australia.
