US reports 19 airstrikes against Islamic State in Syria and Iraq

A US-led coalition conducted 19 airstrikes on Islamic State targets in Syria and Iraq this week. The Command Joint Task Force said the greatest concentration of attacks on Friday was near the Syrian city of Hasaka. In Iraq, ten air strikes were conducted near eight cities. Targets struck included tactical units, vehicles, weapons facilities and fighting positions.
