U.S., allies target Islamic State with air strikes

The U.S. and its allies have launched 20 air strikes targeting Islamic State militants in Iraq and Syria since early Friday. The report comes from the Combined Joint Task Force leading the U.S.-led military operations to Iraq. The offensive came after ISIL claimed a car-bombing attack near the U.S. consulate in the Iraqi city of Irbil which killed 3 civilians.
