Northeast Ohio Forecast: Fantastic start to the weekend

A refreshing summer cooldown in July is good, but on a Friday is fantastic! The low humidity will last through your Friday forecast. Skies will remain scattered with clouds near the lakeshore with a light north wind. The same front bringing the comfortable air will stall south of the area. It will remain close enough to include rain chances for communities along Route 30. Latest guidance suggest passing showers between 9 am- 3 pm. Otherwise, conditions will remain dry with passing clouds. As we head toward the weekend, showers and storms will return Saturday afternoon and linger into Sunday morning. The humidity will be back on the rise as well as another frontal boundary lifting north. Saturday storms could produce heavy downpours that could disrupt outdoor plans.
