Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today, we're gonna take a look at this Camco Water Heater Element. This 1,500 watt, 120 volt element is going to let you exchange your worn out heater element for your RV's electric water heater. This is also compatible with most residential-grade water heaters, and this is going to screw into your eight inch port on your hot water heater, and it includes an installation instructions on the packaging, and the installation requires a Phillips head screwdriver and a Camco wrench for installation. If you are also in need of that wrench, I am including our item number on your screen for your reference. You can just pop that item number in the search field of our website, that will take you to that wrench, and you can add that to your order if you are in need of it. Now, the diameter of the threaded portion is 1 1/4 inches, and this has a rubber gasket as you can see here that's going to form a watertight seal. And let me retrieve my ruler here real quick, just give you the overall length. As you can see, we are sitting a little over six inches, about 6 1/4 inches it looks like. Now, this is compatible with many residential-grade water heater brands, including American, A.O. Smith, Bradford White, Craftmaster, General Electric, GS Wood, Kenmore, Lochnivar, Maytag, Mor-Flo, Reliance, Rheem, Richmond, Ruud, Sears, State, and Whirlpool.
