Today we're going to take a look at the Camco Screw-In Lime Life Water Heater Element. Now this part will screw into the port on your camper or home's hot water heater. This part is compatible with many of the residential grade water heater brands including American, AO Smith, Bradford White, General Electric, Kenmore, Maytag, Reliance, Rheem, Ruud, Sears, State, and Whirlpool, and others. This is constructed of a nice high-grade, nickel-chromium alloy. It is UL listed for the USA and Canada. And it is an ultra-low watt density element, so it burns at about 50 watts per square inch. It does resist dry firing, and it is recommended when the water has high mineral content, so it will heat in lime and sand build-up that would normally burn out ordinary elements. It does include the nice rubber gasket on it for a nice water-tight seal, and you can see it's a screw-in design. It has a fold-back design to it. It is 5,500 watts, 240 volts. Overall length on this from one end to the other is 13-1/2", so it is designed to fit into at least a 15" minimum diameter tank size. But that should do it for the review on the Camco Screw-In Lime Life Water Heater Element..
