Cleveland weather: Friday soaker expected for the region in Northeast Ohio

Cleveland weather forecast for Thursday, March 30, 2023. Okay - so here's the scoop: Yes, it's been a seasonably gorgeous day. Well, technically not necessarily seasonable as daytime highs average low 50s for this time of year. Because of the recent onshore atmospheric river to strike the west coast again, it has aided in our regional systems providing mild conditions and yet another rainy system developing. Believe it or not, this has kept any drought conditions at bay allowing for soil moisture to ripen our fruits and vegetables and plants. Friday's area of low pressure will usher in breezy winds gusting 25 to 35 mph as well drop moderate rain showers. A warm front arrives in its wake Friday night into Saturday and this is poised to push temperatures past averages and allow for 60s to develop along with showers and thunderstorms. Winds are also expected to gust past 40 mph in the front's wake Saturday evening into the overnight before the return to normalcy Sunday. Silver lining, sunshine emerges for not only Sunday, but by Monday we're soaked in sunshine with mid 60s possible Here is your 3-day Cleveland weather forecast. TONIGHT | Cloudy skies. Light winds. Upper 30s. FRIDAY | Rain develops. Breezy winds. Mid to upper 50s. SATURDAY | Rainy, rumbly, and windy. Around 60 with some areas inland reaching into the mid to low 60s.
