NBA Live 97 (PS1) (Bulls vs Jazz) (NBA FINALS Game 5) (June 11th 1997)

The end of the road is finally in sight. One more win, and the Chicago Bulls earn their 5th Larry O'Brien trophy. But the Utah Jazz are not going to make it easy. Even though they have one win on their side, they have no intention of giving up. Keep fighting, Bulls, until the Jazz have to go home to Salt Lake City and face the music, and maybe they might get lucky when I face them again in NBA Live 98. Not. Fun fact: During Game 6, nobody was expecting anyone else other than Michael Jordan to take the game winning shot. The fact that Jordan chose Steve Kerr to catapult the Bulls to their next championship in the final seconds of the 4th quarter like John Paxson did during the 1993 NBA Finals against the Phoenix Suns spoke many volumes. (Music played in video): "Victory" By Puff Daddy feat. Notorious B.I.G. & Busta Rhymes "Whatcha Gonna Do" (NBA Hangtime theme song) By M. Doc "Falling" By Teenage Fanclub and De La Soul (R.I.P. David Jolicoeur aka Trugoy the Dove) (Finals scores in Game 5 of the 1997 NBA Finals in real life) Bulls won (even though Jordan was sick with flu-like symptoms) Bulls - 90 Jazz - 88 (Finals scores in Game 6 of the 1997 NBA Finals in real life) Bulls won and defended their title becoming the 1997 NBA Champions Bulls - 90 Jazz - 86 Chicago Bulls 1996-1997 Roster Lineup #13 Luc Longley (2009 Sport Australia Hall of Famer, former assistant coach of the 2013-2019 Australian men's national basketball team) #91 Dennis Rodman (Father of National Women's Soccer League player Trinity Rodman of the 2021-2023 Washington Spirit) (   • DENNIS RODMAN | 75 Stories 💎  ) #33 Scottie Pippen Sr. (Father of Scotty Pippen Jr. of the 2022-2023 L.A.
